1. I'm a new user, where do I go?
- Under the "General" tab on the home page, select New Member Guide.
2. What's BBCode?
- A BBCode is a set of tags based on the HTML language that you may already be familiar with. They allow you to add formatting to your messages in the same way as HTML does, but have a simpler syntax and will never break the layout of the pages you are viewing.
3. Where/How can I delete my account?
- Go to your Profile, select "Edit Profile", and then under the tab "Settings", you'll see the option to delete your account. It should be at the very bottom of the screen.
4. What are the badges for?
- They're meant to be given as gifts to your friends. However you have to pay to give those badges to other people. This is not something I put in the website. It comes with the website already. If you want to buy badges then feel free to do so. Just know that they have nothing to do with the actual purpose of this forum.
5. Is there a way to get notifications?
- If you go to your Profile, select "Edit Profile", and the go to the "Notifications" tab, you'll see options that will let you change your notification settings.
6. How do I start a thread?
- To start a thread, select the desired forum and then click the "Create Thread" option on the top right corner of your screen located under "Log Out".
7. I want to introduce a character, what's allowed/what do I do?
- To introduce a character, all you have to do is ask for permission first. After you get permission to introduce this character, you have to create a character Bio for it.
8. How do I change the theme of the website?
- Go to your Profile, select "Edit Profile", and go to the "Settings" tab. You should be able to see it there.
9. How do I create a poll?
- When you're in the process of creating a thread, you'll see the option to create a poll on the top right of the post creator. It should be near the settings option.
10. I have suggestions for the website. Where do I go?
- You can make suggestions for the website and story plot in the "Member Suggestions" thread under "General".
11. I'm being harassed/bullied by another member. What do I do?
- If you're being bullied or harassed or you witness it, then please notify a staff member immediately. If you're worried about your identity getting out, then don't worry you'll be kept anonymous and they'll be immediately kicked out depending on the circumstances. However, you must have some sort of proof (like a screen shot). Otherwise, we can't help you.
12. How do I change my rank?
- To change your role, simply send me a private message and I can assign you a new role in the same level rank or lower (High Rank, Medium Rank, and Low Rank), or you can get promoted to a higher level. Keep in mind that if you switch to a lower rank, the only way you can get a higher rank next time is by getting promoted.
13. How do I get promoted?
- To get promoted, you have to frequently log in and participate in the RP (over an extended period of time. Not like two weeks of being active), be courteous to others (not your character just you as a member), and just generally be good at what you do. For example, if you're a falconer (hunter) and you're hunting more than the others, you're respectful towards other members in the forum, and you produce a lot of kills or herbs, then there's a good chance you'll be promoted to a Head Falconer. However, that's only if the position is open or if the Head Falconer isn't doing a very good job or not very active. The only position you can't get promoted to is Supreme (because, you know, I'm Supreme ).
14. How can I block users?
- To block a user, go to your Profile, select the "Edit Profile" option, go to the "Settings" tab, and scroll down. The option to block a user should be there.
15. How do I make my email address private?
- Go to your Profile, select "Edit Profile", and then go to the "Privacy" tab. Look for the "Email Visibility" option and in the drop down, select "Share with staff only".
16. What's the "Shoutbox"?
- The Shoutbox is the group chat you'll see at the bottom of the screen. The Shoutbox won't go away on any page so if you ever have a question, all you need to do is scroll down and ask away!
17. Is there some sort of title I'm supposed to call higher ranks when I address them?
- There's only a title for the Supremes. You can call them "leader", "my leader", "Sir", "Madam", "Ma'm", or just general titles of respect. For ranks that are higher than you, you can just address them as "Sir" or "Ma'm". This rule is applied only to medium and high ranks. Low ranks don't have to address each other that way.
